HometownMilan, Italy | SpecialtyHandmade Shoes | Est.1883 |
It all began with the first atelier, opened by Enrico Rivolta in 1883 in Via del Gesù, Milan. Calzoleria Rivolta soon made a name for itself, thanks to its exquisitely handcrafted bespoke shoes, using the most refined cobbling techniques.
In addition to many of the leading Milanese aristocratic and bourgeois families and cultural figures, clients came from all over Italy, and many aficionados from overseas followed suit as well, especially from the UK.
Today Fabrizio Rivolta, a direct descendant of Enrico, continues the family tradition, as always in the heart of Milan.
Calzoleria Rivolta is characterized by the use of different construction methods and aesthetic values of the Italian shoe making tradition. Rivolta continues to stand out with its elegantly rigorous construction and simple lines mixed with an superior technical expertise and workmanship. The craftsman are true masters and offer the Goodyear, Blake and Norwegian constructions.
