Maker & Inis Meain Collaboration Sweater: Tunic Aran

Our first collaboration is with famed Irish sweater maker Inis Meain. Based on the island of the same name, Inis Meain beautifully melds history, heritage and craftsmanship to create rich products with a tangible history. 

This version of the classic Aran style is a one of a kind design only for Maker & Co.  This is a traditional "work" sweater with the knit design only on the top front of the sweater, this type of knitting would take hours and while a "Sunday Sweater" would have the design down the entire front a work sweater by contrast would only have part of the front ornately designed. The sleeves feature the added tonal double stripe design on the lower sleeves.
